Bring it to Life

Our impact on our environment is important – which is why Emser continues to look for ways to protect our world. We are proud to say all our products – porcelain and ceramic – have an HPD accreditation. Additionally, all our field tiles are Declare Red List free and our list of products with EPD certifications grows constantly.
Unlike other types of flooring, the longevity of ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone prevents frequent replacement and allows for easy cleaning without the use of toxic, high VOC, or harsh chemicals. With a potential life of 100+ years, studies have also shown that over a 20-year span, ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone are more cost-effective and sustainable options. For enhanced eco-friendly attributes, all products and packaging are 100% recyclable, allowing them to be easily diverted from landfills post demolition, or when there are surplus materials from construction.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a green building certification program used worldwide. The purpose of this program is to protect our world for present and future generations of all inhabitants. Emser has three different sustainability credentials, RedList Declare Free, HPDc, and EPDs, that contribute to LEED certification and environmental mindfulness.
