THERE ARE MANY Las Vegas legends but when it comes to hospitality properties there is one that reigns over all — Caesars Palace Tower. Originally opened in 1966, Caesars has long stood for opulence and glamour. Many renovations later, KNA Design of West Hollywood was commissioned to refurbish bedroom and bath suites, bringing about a fresh take on the hotel’s magnetism.
Discussing the project with Michael Medeiros, Creative Director at KNA Design, he noted the selection of a stone surfaces partner was critical. “Selecting the stone played a major role in the design and inspiration for the bathroom. Emser Metro Marble* was chosen for the coloration of subtle gray hues with a clean white background, but the main attraction was the unique, almost perfect linear veining characteristics of the stone. It’s hard to imagine that the earth naturally produces such perfection.”
The award winning hospitality design firm is known for its ability to blend classicism with modern themes to create timeless yet relevant, contemporary spaces. The firm’s goal was to “ensure the bathrooms were rich and luxurious and would also stylistically endure the test of time.” The partnership with Emser Tile® allowed KNA Design to deliver on the glamour and luxury expected by Caesars, while also respecting the project’s financial requirements.
