Better Together: Partnerships Abound

Our Back to Basics™ collection was designed in collaboration with Gensler as Product Design Consultant

Emser has been named the first – and exclusive -- tile vendor partner for Builders Buying Group (BBG) in a multi-year agreement.

For those not in the know, here’s how BBG describes itself:

Builders Buying Group is a collective purchasing organization made up of hundreds of independent residential builders and developers across the country. Because members pool their purchasing power, BBG can negotiate hard cost reductions and volume incentives on quality construction materials from leading manufacturers and distributors. In return, BBG provides meaningful value to its suppliers. The group’s growing network of members and vendors continues to provide mutual benefits, helping each to maintain market-leading positions.

This agreement is, in a word, big. Kevin Obert, Director of Programs for BBG, sums up his organization’s viewpoint thusly, “Emser has a strong national network and can service all areas in which we operate. Their positive attitude aligns with our own mentality, and their product offering is second to none.”

Additionally, Emser has announced that its collaboration with leading global architecture and design firm, Gensler, continues to grow with Back to Basics™.

Designed in collaboration with Gensler as Product Design Consultant, our Building Blocks™ and new Back to Basics™ collections are designed to complement one another with shades, colors, sizes and textures. Together, the collections create a unified blend of industrial and natural elements and provide endless design possibilities.

Back to Basics™ features 3x6 inch glossy tiles starting with 60 unique colors meant to mix-and-match. The collection provides a wide spectrum of hues, including, “go-tos” such as white, gray, black, yellow, green, blue and red; more nuanced colorways that are muted, earthy and subdued; as well as pastels and vibrant pops of color. This is only the start, with more new colors on the horizon.

Simply put, collaborations with leading design firms like Gensler allows Emser to partner with some of the most well-respected product designers in the world.
